By means of this historical, scientific and artistic material, the exhibition questions our understanding of conscious experience and explores how art, science and philosophy have studied and represented the brain throughout history.

Brain(s) is organised into three areas: Matter, Mind and Other Minds. It takes us into both the anatomy of the brain and everything that it generates: consciousness, abstract thought, language, imagination, dreams and memory. The exhibition also investigates other minds beyond the human: artificial, animal, collective intelligences, as well as those of brainless organisms.

Organisation: San Telmo Museoa
A colaboration between Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona; Fundación Telefónica, Madrid; y Wellcome Collection, London.
