The sculpture, promoted by Martuteneko Danborrada Elkartea, was unveiled on 20th January 2004. The union between the silhouettes is made with wavy shapes that remind one of the waves of the sea, because the object of the tribute, one of the precursors of the tamborrada drum festival in Martutene, loved the sea.
