Documentation center specializing in museology, cultural management, heritage, conservation, and restoration, and in the thematic areas covered by the museum's permanent exhibition on Basque society and the challenges of today's society. The center also houses collections of Basque art and the STM-GCBC Photobook Collection.
Intended for researchers and students interested in looking at greater depth into STM's subject matter.
It is open to all and free of charge.

Appointments are available for inquiries about the fund outside of these hours.

- Documentary support for museum staff concerning their research and interpretation work on the collections, and when preparing permanent and temporary exhibitions.
- Lending from the modern fund to DK members.
- Consultation-only of antique fund
- Help searching for bibliographical and documental information on the museum's topic areas
Reproductions
Copying and scanning service for material after 1950 whenever the user promises to meet the Copyright Laws.
The copying and scanning service is not free. Users will be charged for each copy made.
Material prior to 1950 can be photographed with no flash and with prior express authorisation from the library staff in the room.
