At the age of sixteen, after discovering the work of Irving Penn, Sandro Miller knew he wanted to be a photographer. More than 30 years later, with a portfolio of clients ranging from Forbes to Coca-Cola, Sandro has assured himself of a place among the best advertising photographers in the world. Success in the world of advertising has allowed him to continue his personal projects, such as Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich: Homage to the masters of photography.

In 2013, Sandro decided to carry out a project to pay homage to the men and women of the photographs which have influenced his career. After selecting 35 images to recreate, contacted Malkovich, who immediately agreed to take part. Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich: Homage the masters of photography comprises pieces such as the photograph of Truman Capote on a corner taken by Irving Penn; Bert Stern’s pictures of Marilyn Monroe; the picture of the migrant mother by Dorothea Lange; Richard Avedon’s beekeeper, among many others.

John Malkovich is considered one of the best American actors of the 21st century. In Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich: Homage to the masters of photography, he shows his chameleon-like character by mutating into Albert Einstein, Che Guevara, John Lennon and Andy Warhol.
